Tatler Dining+ Man Wah
Savour rare seasonal flavours and the Yunnan mushroom tasting menu with Gaja wine pairings
Man Wah proudly presents an exclusive Gaja wine dinner where wine connoisseurs can enjoy an exquisite seven-course menu, prepared with the season’s finest wild mushrooms from China’s Yunnan Province, with elegantly paired wines from Gaja.
Created by executive Chinese chef Wing-Keung Wong, the Gaja wine dinner menu features Man Wah’s all-time favourite — barbecued Iberian pork loin with longan honey. Other highlights include baked green meat with yuzu sauce and roast beef rib with preserved vegetables. Priced at HK$2,288 per person, each delicacy can be savoured with an expertly paired wine.
James Rowell, director of education and brand ambassador of Gaja, will be present to explain the flavour profile behind each storied wine.
For a comprehensive beverage indulgence, Man Wah also offers a beverage programme, where diners can opt for wine and tea pairing. Highlights include a house-made blend of rose pu’er tea; made using a slow-drip method, distilled one day in advance and served as a refreshing welcome drink. An extensive collection of premium and rare teas is also featured, along with established and rising China-grown wines and spirits, handcrafted fruit-infused rice wine and original aperitifs that offers a refreshingly delicate balance of flavours on the palate.
