Cover Good Meat katsu curry

The special menu was crafted by Eat Just ambassador Kaimana Chee and is available for delivery via the Foodpanda app for a limited period only

Food tech company Eat Just and food delivery platform Foodpanda have teamed up to bring its Good Meat cultured chicken (alternative protein made from animal cells) to your home. From April 22, Earth Day, you will be able to order online special dishes crafted by Eat Just ambassador Kaimana Chee and prepared by the culinary team at 1880 restaurant.

The menu is your usual suspects of local favourites, elevated with the use of high-quality cultured meat that closely resembles the taste and texture of real chicken. These include chicken & rice comprising breaded cultured meat that comes with coconut-infused rice, pak choi, sweet chilli, chrysanthemum and microgreens; katsu chicken bathed in a rich curry sauce and served with fragrant jasmine rice, heritage carrots, micro shiso and edible flowers; and chicken caesar salad assembled with  kale, romaine, edible flowers and shaved radish, then finished with a generous drizzle of plant-based caesar dressing.

Moreover, these come in eco-friendly boxes made from bamboo fiber and resin, and delivered by Foodpanda riders on e-bikes.

The choices might seem limited now, but Eat Just and Foodpanda assured food lovers that they will be partnering with additional restaurants to offer more dishes in the coming months. Starting mid-May, Good Meat dishes from JW Marriott Singapore South Beach will be available on the platform.
