Known for its culinary creations made with contemporary twists, Table & Apron's menu is full of Chinese New Year favourites made with a touch of modernity and a lot of flavours. Think house-made siu yuk (roasted pork), fan-favourite Crispy Eggplant drizzled in sesame and chilli dipping, and Pineapple Tarte Tatin with salted cream.

2. Chicken by Won

Inspired by his grandmother's cooking skills and his time as her little cooking assistant, Min Jun Won started Chicken by Won during his university days in the UK. This Chinese New Year, Chicken by Won is offering the Year of the Tiger Set comprising a whole kampung chicken, six servings of chicken rice, three sauces, one jar of Ah Poh's Chili Sauce and one jar of Aunty Won's Almond Cookies.

3. Skillet@163

The team at Skillet@163 is making sure you have the most luxurious Chinese New Year meals possible with four decadent meals. The Signature Prosperity Abalone Rice Bowl is made with Lawas Heirloom Rice, abalones, and kailan, embellished with gold leaf. It's more land-based sister, the Signature Prosperity Foie Gras Rice Bowl is made with similar ingredients but with foie gras instead of abalone. The Fortune Abalone Leek Tarts come in two variations: Wagyu and chicken. Finally, the Fisherman's Tart is topped with some of the freshest clams and prawns.

4. Gooddam

The Italian restaurant is serving up two variations of yee sang and a special Slow-Roasted Sanbanto Pork Belly this festive season. The Prosperity Yee Sang is served with poached lobster, house-smoked scallop and house-cured salmon while the Classic Yee Sang is served with house-cured salmon.

The Slow-Roasted Sanbanto Pork Belly is approximately 1kg of perfection, served with a spicy salsa verde and a Sarawak pepper gravy.

5. Rare the Food Co.

6. Li Restaurant

Li's Yee Sang offers a refreshing start to the Year of the Tiger with fresh fruits and vegetables complemented by smoky umami local sardines and a yuzu pineapple sauce. Fried beancurd skin adds a crucial crunch to the dish.

Li's Poon Choi is a humbler version of what we're used to seeing. Instead of abalone and other seafood, Li has opted for a juicy poached half chicken, lap cheong, prawn wrapped in beancurd skin, and black moss, among others.

Carnivores are going to enjoy this one. Maria's SteakCafe's Prosperity Set and Abundance Set comprises of steaks and lamb cutlets; even the yee sang is topped with pulled beef (traditional smoked salmon is also an option).

9. Licky Chan

Yee sang for dessert? Why not?

Licky Chan, in collaboration with whisky brand Dewar's, has created Not Your Basic Lou Sang, a boozy carrot cake with Dewar's soaked raisins presented on a biscuit "plate". Instead of your usual carrots, cucumbers, and smoked salmon, Licky Chan has gone for more dessert-appropriate tossing material: carrot bacon, cinnamon crumble, candied peanut, white sesame brittle and dried pineapple, to be doused in Dewar's 12 Years whisky caramel!

Need more 'ong' (luck) for your dessert course? Grab a pint of its special CNY ice cream, Turn Down for Huat with Dewars 12 Whisky, raisins and tonka beans.

The Fat Fish's ever popular Chinese New Year yee sang is available for dine-in, takeaway and delivery now and throughout Chinese New Year. It comes with the classic salmon topping but you can opt to add on snow pears or mini Chilean abalones for a small extra fee.
