This Damansara Kim establishment is embracing traditions old and new with its seasonal offerings, Crouching Pork Set and Hidden Chicken Set. Known for its culinary creations made with contemporary twists, Table & Apron's menu is full of Chinese New Year favourites made with a touch of modernity and a lot of flavours. Think house-made siu yuk (roasted pork), fan-favourite Crispy Eggplant drizzled in sesame and chilli dipping, and Pineapple Tarte Tatin with salted cream.

The Italian restaurant is serving up two variations of yee sang and a special Slow-Roasted Sanbanto Pork Belly this festive season. The Prosperity Yee Sang is served with poached lobster, house-smoked scallop and house-cured salmon while the Classic Yee Sang is served with house-cured salmon.

The Slow-Roasted Sanbanto Pork Belly is approximately 1kg of perfection, served with a spicy salsa verde and a Sarawak pepper gravy.

Li's Yee Sang offers a refreshing start to the Year of the Tiger with fresh fruits and vegetables complemented by smoky umami local sardines and a yuzu pineapple sauce. Fried beancurd skin adds a crucial crunch to the dish.

Li's Poon Choi is a humbler version of what we're used to seeing. Instead of abalone and other seafood, Li has opted for a juicy poached half chicken, lap cheong, prawn wrapped in beancurd skin, and black moss, among others.

Licky Chan, in collaboration with whisky brand Dewar's, has created Not Your Basic Lou Sang, a boozy carrot cake with Dewar's soaked raisins presented on a biscuit "plate". Instead of your usual carrots, cucumbers, and smoked salmon, Licky Chan has gone for more dessert-appropriate tossing material: carrot bacon, cinnamon crumble, candied peanut, white sesame brittle and dried pineapple, to be doused in Dewar's 12 Years whisky caramel!

Need more 'ong' (luck) for your dessert course? Grab a pint of its special CNY ice cream, Turn Down for Huat with Dewars 12 Whisky, raisins and tonka beans.
