Bonnae Gokson’s restaurant and art hub at Prince’s Building reopens with a stylish new look and global menu

After months of refurbishment, art and design-hub Sevva reopens this October with a glamorous new look, as Bonnae Gokson transposes her creative vision in art and design into her reopened restaurant, instilling colorful style into the iconic meeting place of refined dining and design.

Sevva’s makeover extends beyond the change in aesthetics. The 22,000 square foot space is designed partly by Gokson, with installation of new flooring throughout the space including the restaurant and kitchen. The harbour-side dining room is one of the many highlights in design, as a kaleidoscopic floral dome is installed featuring 36 custom-made gypsy chandeliers and 100,000 silk flowers, embellishing the space with a myriad of vibrant colours. The Taste bar restores glitz and glamour with a bar area that doubles as venue for private functions, serving a collection of fine wines, champagne, classic, and signature cocktails. The refurbished terrace overlooks the city’s skyline.

The redesigned venue’s internationally-inspired menu stays true to its East-Meets-West theme with courses designed and crafted by an experienced team of chefs led by Chase Kojima. Signature dishes include wok-fried Boston lobster with aka miso, nori butter, wakame and kombu; steamed artichoke with trio dipping sauces; Taiwanese beef noodle bowl; Shanghainese wontons; and wagyu beef cheek and ox tongue pot pie.

Sevva is open for lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and late supper from Monday to Saturday. Reservations are strongly recommended.
