Queen Elizabeth II is marking her “official” birthday on June 12. Naturally, it’s a grand affair that will be celebrated across the globe—Singapore included. But with the whole world still reeling from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, the British High Commission Singapore pays tribute to this special day by teaming up with Singapore Restaurant Rescue to launch a joint community campaign that celebrates all things food.
Scheduled to launch tomorrow, the campaign encourages food lovers to partake in the British tradition of afternoon tea from June 12 to 30. They can order from participating outlets or prepare the spread themselves, but to be able to win delicious goodies curated by the British High Commission Singapore, they need to post a picture on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #SGUKJuneTea and tagging @UKinSingapore.
