Believe it or not, 2021 is coming to an end within a matter of months—and Covid-19 is still a pertinent issue that the world is battling. However, restrictions have eased, albeit in phases, but one thing most Singaporeans are thankful for is the ability to go for staycations since travelling abroad is not on the cards for most people. Hotels in Singapore have welcomed guests since July last year when the country entered phase two of its safe re-opening, after the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) released an advisory on July 3, 2020. STB had said: “Hotels must also address key outcomes in their application to reduce potential transmission risks and support contact tracing efforts. Risk factors for hotels to consider include proximity between guests, propensity for crowds to form, level of activity and number of high-touch surfaces.”
We've put together a list of the best hotels to experience for a well-deserved break. Start planning your staycations (if you have not already) so you can make your bookings for long weekends or even New Year's Eve.
