From sprawling gardens and royal palaces to the Big Ben, there is so much to see in this cosmopolitan city
What do you love most about your city?
I love London’s rich cultural and entertainment life. From watching world-class ballet and opera at the Royal Opera House and seeing a new play in the West End, to watching Adele in concert in Hyde Park—London has it all.
What are your top restaurants, hotels, bars?
My favourite restaurant is Lucio in Chelsea. I love that it’s dog-friendly and has the best Italian food in London. My favourite hotel is the Ham Yard. I don’t really go to bars anymore, but I like the bar at My Club, 5 Hertford Street, in Mayfair.
For first-time travellers to London, what’s a place they shouldn’t miss?
The Tower of London to see the crown jewels of course!
What’s the best place for shopping?
I like shopping on King’s Road, but I go to Harvey Nichols when I need an outfit and don’t have much time.

What are the best weekend markets?
Borough Market for food; Notting Hill for vintage stuff.
What’s a secret place you can share?
I love the Secret Garden in Kensington Palace.
What’s the best time of the year to go to London?
Late spring (May) is the best. Everything is in bloom and people are usually in a good mood then.
How would you describe the people?
London is a big melting pot of cultures and races; it attracts the best and the brightest. I love that the British are so tolerant and believe so strongly in fairness.
Where’s the place to go to see and be seen?
Hmmm. Not really my thing but I guess that would be Annabel’s.
If you had a weekend trip outside the city, where would you go?
Dorset for its Jurassic coast and wonderful countryside.
