The cruise specialist promises unforgettable getaways to Europe and Alaska

The world can feel a little smaller after our time indoors; how we have longed for adventures beyond the screens of our phones. With borders slowly opening up, it’s time to plan that well-deserved holiday.

There’s no better place to start than on an indulgent cruise with Holland America Line (HAL) around Europe and Alaska. Established in 1873, HAL was the first leisure cruise liner to sail to Alaska and Yukon more than 75 years ago. Today, its fleet comprises 11 ships with voyages that range from the majestic fjords in Norway to the exotic waters of the Mediterranean.

Its current fleet comprises 11 ships with the newest being Rotterdam. These luxurious floating hotels boast top-of-the-line amenities and services, ranging from gourmet food prepared by world-class chefs to well-appointed staterooms and sublime spas.

For the 2022 season, Rotterdam will set sail on exclusive voyages throughout Northern Europe, the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean. Wander through ancient buildings, tiny towns and cobblestoned streets. The 7-day cruise feaqtures such thematic voyages as the Viking Sagas, Norse Legends, Northern Isles and Baltic. The ship will make a special journey on October 15, 2022, recreating the route of the original Rotterdam I from Rotterdam to New York City to mark the voyage’s 150th anniversary.

Then there is the magnificent Nieuw Statendam  with its various 7-day voyages that ends in Iceland or Baltic. It has been said that the views of the Northern Atlantic are absolutely breathtaking especially in the summer—hop on board for a chance to catch the amazing sight.

Meanwhile, Oosterdam will sail through the hearts of Europe including Barcelona, Venice, Rome and Athens on 7- & 12-day cruises. For an indulgent time, book the 35-Day Voyage of the Vikings on Zandaam that begins and ends in Boston, Massachusetts.

Plan even further ahead to 2023 when the European season commences in April that year. Rotterdam will return to Amsterdam to sail on signature Viking Sagas, Norse Legends, Northern Isles and Baltic itineraries. Nieuw Statendam will make Copenhagen her base with Baltic and Iceland as its ultimate destinations during its European season before wrapping things up with trips to Egypt, Turkey, and Israel. She ends her season with the decadent a Passage to America.

For this season, the popular 18-Day Viking Passage will now be extended to 20 days on board the Zuiderdam , which will also play host to the epic 35-Day Voyage of the Vikings.
