Last year, the Four Seasons Hotel KL celebrated the debut of its 111th Four Seasons Hotel across the globe, as well as being the 3rd tallest building in Malaysia. In this short time, the hotel has made a reputation for itself as the nexus of hospitality and luxury among its competitors.

Strategically placed at the centre of the nation's buzzing city, the Four Seasons has brought new energy and finesse into the local hospitality scene by immersing the brand with the multicultural nuances of Malaysia. This international hospitality chain also has its finger on the pulse for scouting local talents, and is no stranger to forming solid partnerships within the community, working with familiar faces like celebrity chef Dato' Fazley Yaakob as well as acclaimed floral designer Razak Ahmad - whose beautiful floral displays can be spotted throughout the hotel.

Since its debut year, Luxury Travel Advisor has awarded it the Best Hotel Development at Asia Property Awards, and has since been the preferred accommodation for discerning travellers the world over. The hotel has made successful use of their unique skill sets to redefine simple pleasures into extraordinary dining, sleek and spacious accommodation plus exemplary services, that bring new meaning to the word 'hospitality'.

The legendary Four Seasons service is no myth. Every single team member at Four Seasons understands the importance and value placed in accommodating every need of their guests.

As part of the Four Seasons hospitality, the front of the house will anticipate every guest's arrival with a warm welcome. Their goal is to surpass expectations, ensure all needs are met, and to create lasting memories for their guests.

“We make it a point to listen to guests and their needs in order to provide a pesonalised and intuitive service,” assures Tom Roelens, the general manager of Four Seasons KL. “A lot of it revolves around empathy and putting our guests in the Four Seasons cocoon, while taking great care of them.”

In this past year, the Four Seasons has established itself as the undisputed leader within the hospitality industry. By practising the habit of following up with guests for feedback, Four Seasons is able to continuously provide impeccable experiences for everyone in health and wellness, dining and, of course, social events.

The hotel’s creative collaborations so far have included a host of luxury brands like Tiffany & Co., which have resulted in exciting afternoon tea sessions at The Lounge – an elegantly designed venue that has welcomed Malaysian royalty alongside the city’s most sophisticated individuals through its doors.

According to Roelens, lively collaborations like these will only increase in time, with private fashion shows and casual poolside soirées among the many highlights.

3. Exquisite Dining

The restaurant's executive chef hails from Hong Kong, with a mission to give diners the best Cantonese cuisine in town. Chef Jimmy Wong brings with him more than 30 years worth of Chinese culinary experience from Hong Kong, China and Singapore.

The crown jewel of the hotel, Yun House, has been placed in the careful hands of Wong, who has created an array of unique dining experiences that have garnered numerous awards. The upscale Chinese restaurant offers a stunning view of the KLCC park and a decor that is unlike any other Chinese restaurant in Kuala Lumpur - in fact, its glamorous Oriental ambience is the subject of many Instagram posts!

Then there is the highly-acclaimed Bar Trigona, which has gone above and beyond to thrill guests with masterclasses on locally sourced ingredients. Their unique efforts have won them the Ketel One Sustainable Bar at Asia’s 50 Best Bar Awards. “We’ve had an incredibly strong start and it’s very rewarding to be appreciated on such coveted global platforms," says Roelens.
