You don't have to travel far to find a scenic spot as some of them are right in and around the metro

While we can't invite larger crowds to accompany us on road trips and plane rides, we can always head over to beautiful destinations in and out of the metro. Happy trails!

Another scenic bike trail within Rizal is the AFP-Pestaño Farm Trail. On either side of the trail are towering trees of different kinds, including pine trees. Once you reach the highest part of the route, you'll get to enjoy a vista of trees and the rest of the city of Antipolo.

3. La Mesa Bike Trail

Where: Quezon City

Regardless of what time you visit the La Mesa Nature Reserve bike trail, you'll get to enjoy a route without worrying about the heat of the sun as the trees will serve as your shade. It's worth pedalling through the mud, even after the rain, especially when you're after the beauty of the vast La Mesa Dam. You may wheel your bike towards the deck near the waters and rest on one of the benches while breathing in the view.
