The parade will be Singapore’s first full-scale National Day celebration since the pandemic. Tickets are available for collection from July 8

The National Day Parade 2022 is always met with much anticipation by Singaporeans—especially so this year as it is the country’s very first full-scale celebration since the pandemic. And there is much in store: from the essential marching contingents to everyone’s favourite Red Lions parachute team.

Set at the Marina Bay floating platform, the theme for this year’s parade is Stronger Together, Majulah Singapura in celebration of the resilience that Singapore has demonstrated throughout the years. The theme is in hopes of inspiring Singaporeans to strive for a better future as we emerge from the pandemic.

Singapore Idol Season one winner Taufik Batisah will be taking the stage at The Float, to sing this year’s theme song, Stronger Together.

Tickets are given out for Singaporeans to attend either the NDP show or one of the two preview shows planned. Each ticket only admits one spectator and children and infants must have valid tickets. Ticket applications were previously made on the NDP website from June 6 to June 20.

In line with Covid-19 guidelines, only fully vaccinated individuals, those who have recovered from Covid-19 in the preceding 180 days, those who are medically ineligible for all vaccines, and children aged 12 and below will be allowed to attend NDP 2022 and the two preview shows.

Applicants who are unable to collect the tickets on the stipulated dates may ask a family member to make the collection on their behalf with the QR code in the notification email.

The executive committee does not allow any sale of the tickets.

Successful ticket applicants will be notified via email between June 27 and July 1. Collections start from July 8 to 10 and July 15 to 17. Ticket collection venues will be released in due time.
