Here are some Keanu Reeves movies you can watch before he returns on John Wick 4!

Keanu Reeves will reprise his role as John Wick for the fourth time, and we are elated to see the renowned actor back on screen.

Today marks Reeves' 57th birthday and the internet is celebrating with the actor in every way they can. He has always been known for being genuinely affable on and off cam, which explains why the internet is raving about his return.

Starring mostly in Sci-Fi flicks, Reeves has been in many other great movies. If you've been wondering why many admire the actor or simply just want to binge his movies in celebration of his birthday, here's a list of Reeves' movies to watch (other than The Matrix and John Wick series):

1. My Own Private Idaho (1991)

In My Own Private Idaho, Keanu Reeves steals the show alongside the late River Phoenix as two friends roaming and living in the streets of Portland, Oregon. The movie is a loose adaptation of Shakespeare's Henry IV. It's also quite nice to see a younger Reeves act in a part that's somehow different from his usual roles.

2. Devil's Advocate (1997)

You'll definitely want to watch the movie for the actor, but you'll want to stay for the fantastical adventure.

5. The Day The Earth Stood Still (2008)

Aliens have finally arrived on earth—not in the flesh but in a gigantic robot. Played by Keanu Reeves, Klaatu's unnerving arrival has left the world in shock. While The Day The Earth Stood Still is a remake of the 1951 movie of the same name, it's still interesting to see its analogous plot of Christianity's renowned story of Jesus Christ.

In Speed, a retired bomb squad member arms a bus with a bomb which is set to explode when the bus drives below 50 miles per hour as an act of revenge against police offer Jack, played by Keanu Reeves. Once more, he acts alongside Bullock in this action movie. Only this time, our hearts are pounding for the wrong reasons.

Although Keanu Reeves wasn't the star of the movie Always Be My Maybe, he made quite a lasting impression. Playing as himself, Reeves arrives as Sasha's date, leaving her ex and his new girl in awe. Reeves isn't afraid of making fun of himself on screen as he hilariously portrays himself in the movie as what most people see him—a deep and kind person.
