Right off the bat we have That Winter The Wind Blows, a heavy drama that stars Jo In-sung and Song Hye-kyo. As the title suggests, most of the melodrama's scenes were filmed amidst the winter snow. 

That Winter The Wind Blows follows the story of a conman (Oh Soo) and a wealthy heiress (Oh Young) who do not believe in luck and love. The former is an orphan whose heart is broken after losing the love of his life while the latter is a young woman who is visually impaired.

2. My Love From The Star

My Love From The Star has everything a K-Drama fan could ever ask for: comedy, drama, and heart-pounding romantic scenes. But one of its highlights is the scene where Do Min-joon (Kim Soo-hyun) and Cheon Song-yi (Jun Ji-hyun) sat on a bench to have a solemn talk in the snow.

Hit K-Drama Guardian: The Lonely and Great God  (popularly known as Goblin) has quite a number of scenes blanketed by snow. The winter season was a perfect portrayal of the fun and energetic character of the leading lady Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun).

The Lonely and Great God follows the story of the 900-year-old 'Goblin' (Shin) who waits for his human bride so that he can finally rest in the afterlife. As the story progresses, Shin develops strong feelings for his bride Eun-tak, but as belief would have it, the latter only exists to end the Goblin’s life.

4. Boys Over Flowers

Boys Over Flowers, one of the series that catapulted Korean leading man Lee Min-ho to fame, is a show with heart-warming scenes filmed in the snow. One perfect example is the time when the impatient and hot-headed Gu Jun-pyo (Min-ho's character) waited patiently for Geum Jan-di (Koo Hye-sun) at the freezing N Seoul Tower.

5. Winter Sonata

Years after its release, the K-Drama classic Winter Sonata is still one of the series with the most beautiful winter scenes. The story revolves around Joon Sang (portrayed by Bae Yong-joon) who moves to a small rural town in South Korea and finds himself lonely until his classmate Yoo Jin (portrayed by Choi Ji-woo) comes and forms a friendly bond with him amidst the freezing weather.
