What: Tatler Dining Kitchen is back for its second edition with an exciting off-menu experience. This year, Brut’s head chef Gavin Chin and Bedu’s executive chef Corey Riches are collaborating to deliver a menu that’s inspired by their common Australian upbringing, where guests can look forward to an exquisite Antipodean meal featuring dishes such as dry-aged threadfin and Jerusalem artichoke carpaccio.

2. Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong 2022

Where: Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre

What: Art lovers rejoice! The highly-anticipated Affordable Art Fair is back. This year, the event will showcase over 1000 wallet-friendly contemporary artworks picked from leading local and international galleries, offering everything from traditional ink paintings, abstract canvases and sculptures, to eye-catching photography and digital works.

3. Eaton HK’s Unheard Sound & Music Festival

What: Eaton Hong Kong is partnering with Contemporary Musiking HK and dtby to host a sound and music festival this weekend, where guests will enjoy a unique programme of performances, talks, screenings and workshops.

Highlights of the event include a sound bath healing session hosted by local artist MC Yan, a live performance by computer musician and laptop music improviser Tsun Winston Yeung, and a panel discussion on music and sound design for film.

4. SUB(X)TURE

Date: August 10 - September 18

Where: K11 Art Mall 

What: Hong Kong-based cap brand Carnaby Fair is hosting a cultural festival this summer at K11 Art Mall. Visitors will get to see a diverse range of artworks and Instagrammable installations from renowned artists including street painter, The Plumber King; pop artist Ernest Chang; animator DaddyBoy®; illustrator SIUKINS; Caricuratist Elphonso Lam; and founder of Neolite HK, Polly Chan.

5. Summer Vibes

6. 9GAG Memeland Exhibition

What: Viral meme platform 9GAG has launched a new exhibition that promises to be an eye-opening experience for every art enthusiast. 

Titled Memeland, the event showcases over 30 specially created NFTs, alongside limited edition work by 9GAG’s collaborators including foodpanda and AlipayHK. 7. The 46th Hong Kong International Film Festival

Where: Online and various locations across Hong Kong

What: Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF) returns this summer for its 46th edition with a diverse programme of events. Opening with two major local films, including the world premiere of Philip Yung's Where the Wind Blows, starring Aaron Kwok and Tony Leung Chiu-wai; and Ng Yuen-fai's highly-anticipated sci-fi feature Warriors of Future, starring Sean Lau and Louis Koo, this year’s festival will once again adopt a hybrid format, featuring more than 300 in-theatre and online screenings, as well as other audience-engagement events.
