After a series of cryptic posts, the 'heads finally revealed what they're up to before the year ends

Eraserheads frontman Ely Buendia, drummer Raymund Marasigan, bassist Buddy Zabala, and guitarist Marcus Adoro are gearing up for yet another reunion concert on December 22, 2022. Additional details such as selling dates and ticket prices have yet to be announced.

The announcement comes after the quartet posted an image of the band's logo over the weekend.

Formed in 1989, the OPM band popularised the songs Ang Huling El Bimbo, Pare Ko, Magasin, Alapaap, Overdrive, and more. The group disbanded in 2002 and performed again in Eraserheads: The Reunion Concert in 2008. The performance was cut short however when Buendia was rushed to the hospital for chest pains.

In 2009, the group held another concert titled Eraserheads: The Final Set.

Following their breakup, the band members continued to play for different groups—Buendia with Apartel, Zabala with Moonstar 88, Adoro with Markus Highway, and Marasigan with Sandwich.
