1. Tahanan Pottery

One of the most well-known pottery studios in Metro Manila is Tahanan Pottery. They host multiple kinds of workshops, from house lantern making to mug and bowl making. Online classes are also available for those who wish to learn a new skill while in the comfort of their own homes. For those who want to build a foundation of knowledge for future projects, consider signing up for their pottery wheel classes or clay classes. They come with multiple sessions that will help anyone on their journey to become a true master potter.

2. UGU Bigyan's Potter Garden

Learn the art of pottery from one of the country's master potters, Ugu Bigyan! His eponymous brand, House of Ugu, is a personal favourite of mine, but his Potter Garden and Studio are even much more impressive. It's an all-in-one stop where visitors can enjoy a stroll in the garden, taste some Asian fusion cuisine in the surrounding restaurant, and even learn how to craft an item or two with their very own hands. Located in Tiaong, it makes for a great escape from the city—watch out for their soon to open bed and breakfast as well!

3. Wabi Sabi Studio

Wabi Sabi Studio is a favourite among local celebrities. Located in the quiet backstreets of San Juan, it specialises in what they call "clay play". New students can sign up for 1-day pottery crash courses or 3-day full courses. Aside from that, Wabi Sabi Studio also sells unique and eclectic ceramic pieces. Quirky and fun, this studio has become a favourite for younger potters looking to learn the craft.

4. Kibo Studio

Kibo Studio is proud to offer pottery classes for "anyone, anywhere". Whether a beginner or an intermediate potter, they're sure to succeed in meeting the student's goals. Held online, the have three different types of classes available: a wheel pottery class that consists of three single sessions, a beginner's hand-building pottery class, and even a private pottery workshop that they can host for groups of friends or corporate events. 7. Crescent Moon Studio

Located in Antipolo, Crescent Moon Studio is also a cafe that specialises in simple yet fresh and delicious Southeast Asian food. The establishment was founded by celebrated potter, Lanelle Abueva-Fernando, who studied arts both in the Philippines and across the world.
