The 'In the Mood for Love' costume designer co-chairs this year’s event with V&A’s deputy director and COO Tim Reeve
K11 Musea’s fashion exhibition returns this year, and the theme is The Love of Couture: Artisanship in Fashion Beyond Time. Running from December 8 until January 29, 2023 at the Victoria Dockside mall’s Art and Cultural Centre, this second edition explores the evolution of fashion across time and space, and celebrates the next generation of designers.
K11 will also host its fashion gala, K11 Night, on December 3 ahead of the exhibition. A-listers, socialites and celebrities are invited to the glitzy event, and to dress up in their finest Met Gala-style outfits.

This Year’s K11 Night will be co-chaired by Tim Reeve, deputy director and chief operating office of London’s Victoria and Albert Museum; and Hong Kong film director and costume designer William Chang Suk-ping.
The V&A is known for being the world’s largest museum of applied arts, decorative arts and design, and will be K11’s museum partner this year. Under the curatorial direction of Reeve, V&A’s project curator Claire Allen-Johnstone and Chang, six emerging fashion designers from mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea will create bespoke couture pieces that are inspired by V&A’s collection of British and French womenswear throughout history, whilst incorporating East Asian elements.
