This year’s Fine Art Asia is set to take place from October 8–11, 2021 with a preview on October 7, 2021 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Despite the difficulties presented by the pandemic, last year's Fine Art Asia succeeded in uniting the Hong Kong art community in a rare physical art fair which raised the spirits of those involved.
Being one of Asia’s leading international art fairs, Fine Art Asia 2021 aims to deliver another vibrant, homegrown art fair this autumn. However, due to continuing travel restrictions, the focus will once again be on Hong Kong art and antique galleries as well as art institutions. While overseas exhibitions and collectors are unable to come to the city again this year, Fine Art Asia 2021 will help some international galleries to participate remotely in the fair.
“Last year, we successfully organised a physical art fair amidst the Covid‐19 pandemic, proving the strength of Hong Kong as an international art hub, and the enthusiasm and unity of the local art community. Despite the continuing challenges posed by the pandemic, Fine Art Asia is fortunate to be held as scheduled this year,” said Andy Hei, founder and director of Fine Art Asia.
