Christie’s Autumn Auction Highlights Preview is happening this weekend at The Arts House, featuring an array of exceptional art
Christie’s global autumn auction highlights preview in Singapore is finally here. This year, the British auction house will be previewing its most valuable and important collection of art yet. Comprising over 70 works of art by iconic 20th and 21st-century artists from across the East and West, the collection will have a total value of over US$56 million.
It was initially announced that an array of exceptional art and luxury will be displayed at Christie’s global autumn auction highlights preview. The additional masterpieces will include examples of impressionism, expressionism, modernism and contemporary art.

These will be led by American artist Joan Mitchell followed by Zao Wou-ki, Yoshitomo Nara, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Georg Baselitz, George Condo, Zeng Fan-Zhi and Marc Chagall. Alongside them are Southeast Asian artists such as Georgette Chen, Cheong Soo Pieng, Mai Trung Thu, and more.

“This unprecedented display will be expertly curated to honour the diverse and rich canon of global art history which these artworks represent, transcending time periods and geographies to create a truly unique and fascinating viewing experience,” said Cristian Albu, international director and co-head of the 20th and 21st-century art department of Christie’s Asia Pacific in a statement.
“We are incredibly excited to be displaying exceptional work by Southeast Asian artists in this global context, creating dynamic dialogues between Eastern and Western masterpieces. A preview with wide-ranging appeal, we are looking forward immensely to engaging and hearing feedback from Southeast Asia’s discerning collecting community,” he added.
The public preview of the collection will be held from October 29 to October 30 at The Arts House At The Old Parliament.
