There is so much in store for this year's Frieze; the art festival has announced 118 participating galleries that will work together for their first Asian fair, which will run from September 2 to 5, 2022.
There will be a total of 90 art galleries at the Frieze Seoul, another ten will appear in a section titled 'Focus Asia,' which will showcase solo artist presentations from young Asia-based galleries. There will also be a 'Frieze Masters' section which is set to put up 18 additional galleries.
Frieze has also released the details of supporting exhibitions and events during Seoul's first ever Frieze Week, which will start on August 29.
Institutional exhibitions include Hito Steyerl's' A Sea of Data' at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA), a Chung Seoyong retrospective at the Seoul Museum of Art, and Daniel Richter's My Lunatic Neighbour at Space K.
