The inaugural edition of the international art fair takes place from January 12 to 15, at Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Marina Bay Sands

We are less than two months away from the much-awaited launch of Art SG and, in anticipation for its opening in January 2023, art fair organisers The Art Assembly held a cocktail reception on November 3, at the National Gallery Singapore.

As art collectors, aficionados and administrators from Singapore and the region mingled, there was an undeniable excitement in the air as the fair is finally back on track after several postponements since it was first announced in 2018.

Art SG co-founder Magnus Renfrew says the “time is right for an art fair of international standards” in Southeast Asia, while fair director Shuyin Yang shares that the fair will bring together more than 150 leading galleries of the world, with a dynamic gallery programming and curation.

Art SG takes place from January 12 to 15, 2023, at Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Marina Bay Sands. A VIP preview will be held on January 11.
