Who? Joanna Hotung, Janice Chan-Choy, Heidi Lee, Rina Wadhwani, Betty Ng, Josephine Chiu
Where? Tatler Dining Kitchen at Haus in Hong Kong
Here's what you missed: No topic was off limits when women at the forefront of their industries gathered for two intimate networking dinners. Martial artist JuJu Chan Szeto talked about excelling in a male-dominated field; Heidi Lee, executive director of the Hong Kong Ballet, reflected on an early influential mentor; and architect Betty Ng shared the financial thought process that led her to launch her own firm—sparking talk of other money milestones.
The conversation flowed late into the evening, as guests connected over the professional as well as the personal, exchanging advice on how to raise well-balanced kids and natural wellness remedies.
Even the meal itself was a talking point: chef Felix Cheung fittingly took inspiration from a remarkable woman, his mother-in-law, and her seafood trade in Hong Kong’s Lau Fau Shan. Paired with distinctive natural wines, the many courses featured local seafood, such as hairy crab, grouper and geoduck, with a contemporary twist and techniques from Cheung’s time in Michelin-starred kitchens.
The dinners were hosted by Front & Female with the support of Citi Private Bank, which shares our mission to empower women to power the world.
