Onscreen superhero, Chris Evans, is Smart Communication's latest brand ambassador! Here's why the mega-star has been recruited as the brand's first Hollywood A-List endorser
We're all superheroes in our own way—but Chris Evans has actually brought one to life and how many people can say that of themselves? The Captain America: The First Avenger and Avengers: End Game superstar recently made Philippine headlines after it was revealed that he was to be the newest brand ambassador of Smart Communications. You may have seen the quick video they released—where Evans himself ends with the words: "Simple! Smart Ako!"—but have you ever wondered about why Smart Communications chose him as their first Hollywood A-List brand ambassador?

It's all for the brand's latest campaign, which they've entitled "Live Smarter for a Better World". In essence, the initiative aims to inspire people to commit to more sustainable lifestyle choices that will lead to a more positive impact on society. As a brand that's been known to support and promote innovation, sustainability, and nation-building, Smart Communications encourages everyone to ignite their passions and help make our society the best it can be. "Our aim [is] to [ignite] that spark in everyone to help change the world for the better rather than just settling for ‘good’,” says Alfredo S. Panlilio, Smart Communications’ President and CEO.
Who better to personify this than Captain America himself? Last year, Evans launched a civic engagement platform called A STARTING POINT that gave him a chance to bring American policies and newsworthy topics into the limelight.
