Ditch your weekend plans and head over to Puerta Real Gardens with your friends as UNKNWN opens up the dance floor this Saturday. Starting 5pm, dance along to hours of non-stop music by 14 DJs across two stages.
"UNKNWN.Returns will be a celebration of local culture—not just because of its storied location, but through its lineup of incredible homegrown talent," says Gen T Honouree Katrina "Kats" Razon, director at UNKNWN, a community and music-driven event. "Whether you’re in the mood for bright, uplifting house and disco or pounding, mind-melting techno, there will be something for everyone to enjoy and even more to discover amid the flora and in the Manila breeze."

It has been more than two years since returning guests had a chance to let loose on the floor.
"The global pandemic was devastating to the music and live events industries—both economically and psychologically. We waited patiently for two years until the time was safe and appropriate. There is a massive demand for live events in the current environment where government restrictions have eased. We all feel very motivated and inspired to bring the community to dance again," Razon shares.

Following the new guidelines introduced by the government, the team behind UNKNWN found a way to revive the community while abiding by protocols and requiring visitors to show their vaccination cards upon entry.

The director says, "It felt surreal to produce events again, but we were prepared to deliver a positive experience for the community. In partnership with the Intramuros Administration, UNKNWN.Returns will be a joyous return to all the things about Manila nightlife and culture that people have been missing; a community coming together once more to rediscover music in one of the most historical places in the city."
