Melissa Peh and Alvin Soon’s big day in January started with the customary gatecrash and a church solemnisation, before culminating in a dinner banquet at the Grand Ballroom of The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore. Before the six-course Chinese-style dinner commenced, the newlyweds surprised guests with two delicious cocktails concocted from their own recipes. Guests were later entertained by jazz maestro and close family friend, Jeremy Monteiro, who serenaded the couple with two love songs, before their siblings took to the stage to perform a song and dance number. Towards the end of the evening, the pair took their first dance as husband and wife to the Bryan Adams and Barbra Streisand duet, I Finally Found Someone, signalling the start of a new life together.
