The Melium Group & Malaysia Tatler 25th Anniversary Charity Auction

The Melium Group and Malaysia Tatler had once again joined forces to host a charity auction in commemoration of their 25th Anniversary with a target of raising RM 2.5 million for 12 different charity bodies. Despite the pouring rain and traffic congestion, close to 400 distinguished guests turned up in support of the noble cause.

One of the auction highlights was when Dato' Farah Khan released 20 extra slots on top of the promised 10 bespoke Farah Khan dresses to avid fashionistas of the night. Also, a surprise vocal performance by renowned opera singer, Fiona Mariah had the crowd in awe, which led to her decision to open up two extra private performances for bidding.

Overachieving the initial target, RM 3.3 million was raised after 3 exciting hours. Items ranging from luxury fashion pieces, rare vintage wines to exotic getaways were auctioned off to the likes of Datuk Kelvin Tan, Mojgan Nazari, Marion Caunter and Michele Kwok.

During dinner service, five guests including Dato' Tom Abang Saufi and Dato' Seri Razman Hashim were invited to entertain the party with their soulful voices on stage.
