Tatler Talks Recap: Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray On How The Galaxy Z Fold2 Helps Her Keep Up With Her Busy Lifestyle
To say that Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray, is busy is an understatement. Fortunately, her Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G is here to help her cope.
In case you missed it, Tatler Talks returned with an exciting new guest last 17 September 2020.
Hosted by our Editor-in-chief, Anton San Diego, our latest installation of Tatler Talks, in partnership with Samsung, involved Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray, and her sleek new cellphone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G.
The interview started off with Anton and Catriona fondly reminiscing their last trip together in February. The two, along with Catriona's mother, had flown to Italy to attend Milan Fashion Week. After a glamorous four days amidst the romantic backdrop of some of the world's most historic (and fashionable) institutions, Anton and Catriona had flown back to the Philippines right before the start of the months-long lockdown.
Throughout the entire interview, the audience discovered a new side to the Miss Universe winner. Although it wouldn't be hard to imagine how busy she must be, it was all the more interesting to learn about Catriona's many projects and advocacies. As the latest ambassador for Red Cross and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, she is constantly swamped with work. Fortunately, her Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G is able to keep her afloat.

A two-in-one phone and tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G introduces users to an exciting new design in the world of smartphones. Available in mystic bronze and mystic black, this new smartphone is Samsung's luxurious third-generation in-foldable device. Its 6.2-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED Cover Screen allows for maximum usability for all kinds of tasks such as crafting email responses, checking for directions, or watching on-the-go content. When unfolded, the screen transforms into a 7.6 inch Infinity Flex Dynamic AMOLED 2.0 screen with a 120Hz adaptable refresh rate for smoother scrolling, streaming or playing. Due to its versatile design, the phone is easily portable and can provide experiences in multiple angles whether it be quick viewing, hands-free viewing, or full viewing mode.
If you're like Catriona and are constantly on the go, you'll also be pleased to know that you can also use the phone's tablet mode to run multiple applications. Next-level multitasking has now been made easier than ever with intuitive multi-windows and easy drag and drop functions.
The phone also features powerful lens on both its rear and front-facing cameras; these offer a whole new photography experience no matter if you’re taking a selfie on the cover screen, or capturing wide angle photos on the main screen. Thanks to the phone's hands-free camera experience, capture view mode, and rear cam selfie with preview on the cover screen, the phone is definitely the perfect companion for anyone interested in photography or the visual arts.
Catriona also answered a few quick-fire questions. When asked about when she was happiest, she mentioned earlier this year around New Year's when she spent the holidays with her parents. She also touched a little on her childhood saying that she loved to climb trees. Of course, when Anton asked about her most iconic Miss Universe moment, she had to answer with her iconic walk in the red Mak Tumang number on the arm of American singer Ne-Yo.
Towards the end of the talk, Catriona answered a few questions from the audience. Here, she dropped hints about her upcoming book and musical release, then gave some encouraging advice for people in quarantine. Having admitted to also feeling stagnant earlier during the lockdown, the former Miss Universe sympathizes with everyone going through a difficult time right now.
Of course, people were also excited to learn about her and Anton's latest gadget — the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G. Perfect for those looking for luxury, Samsung's new smartphone's official release will be on 25 September 2020 in Samsung's Online Store, Samsung-authorized online partners, online channels of telco partners, Globe and Smart, and on 2 October 2020 for select Samsung Experience Stores and telco partner stores.
