When and where? September 29 at The Continental restaurant

Who? Vicky Lam, Lumen and Andrew Kinoshita, Reyna Harilela, Shirley Hiranand, Candice Chan-Chao and Laura Cheung

Here’s what you missed: Now under the management of The Upper House, the European restaurant, which first opened in 2014, was given a sophisticated makeover befitting its placement within The House Collective. Interior designer Natasha Usher brought in earth tones, bronze accents and artwork by Spanish photographer Miguel Vallinas to amplify the surrounding greenery of the restaurant’s location at Pacific Place. Meanwhile, executive chef Graham Long, who brings two decades’ experience at some of London’s best restaurants, unveiled a new menu prioritising fresh and flavourful ingredients that infused European and Asian cooking techniques, including raw Japanese hamachi, gnocchetti with octopus ragù, perfect cuts of Wagyu beef and poached Atlantic cod.
