Here’s what you missed: Members of the Gen.T community—honourees past and present—gathered for an evening of networking and gastronomy at The Upper House’s new Mediterranean restaurant. The guestlist read like a who’s who of young makers and doers: Juliette Gimenez, co-founder of CEO of fashion app Goxip; Tommie Lo, founder and CEO of technology-focused education platform Preface; and Alvin Kwock, co-founder and CEO of fintech firm OneDegree.
Chef Chris Czerwinski did not disappoint with a perfectly assembled menu of devilled eggs, beef carpaccio, burrata, red prawn strozzapreti pasta, chargrilled seabass, and Hokkaido scallops. Laced with laughter and tarte tatin, the evening was a reminder of what the Gen.T community does best: exchange insight and ideas about entrepreneurship, and make trailblazing plans for nothing less than world domination.
