Sabrina Ho is one of billionaire casino tycoon Stanley Ho's 17 children. Her mother is Angela Leong, co-chairman and an executive director of SJM Holdings. The 28-year-old heiress is keen to follow in her father’s footsteps in leaving her mark on Macau, by transforming the gaming hub into one of Asia’s leading art and culture destinations.

Sabrina's now-fiancé, Thomas Xin Qilong, is a 21-year-old Harvard student who was born and raised in Harbin, in Heilongjiang province, China. He made headlines in 2016 when he became the second person ever from Harbin to be accepted into the elite school. 

They've been secretly engaged since September

Sabrina and Thomas actually got engaged in September, but have decided to keep things under wraps until now. Sabrina made their engagement public by posting a sweet video on Instagram of Thomas' proposal to her, along with a few selfies showing her beautiful engagement ring.

They're extremely private

Their engagement isn't the only thing that they've been hush-hush about—the couple is notoriously private, and it's not known where or how they met, or how long they've been dating. 

He makes her "happy beyond belief"

In an exclusive statement to Hong Kong Tatler, Sabrina said: "I'm so happy to finally announce the news of my engagement. After keeping it a secret for a while, Thomas and I look forward to entering this next chapter of our lives together. He makes me happy beyond belief and I'm over the moon and have already started planning our big day!"
