The luxury Italian brand Bulgari kicked off its 130th anniversary celebration with the reopening of its historic flagship store in one of the busiest streets in Rome—Via dei Condotti. The shop, which occupies the ground floor of two iconic buildings, Palazzo Maruscelli Lepri and Palazzo Boffil, was refurbished by the renowned American architect Peter Marino. During the exclusive event, Bulgari Group’s CEO Jean-Christophe Babin also announced the brand’s initiative to restore the legendary Spanish Steps, a landmark that is at the heart of the brand’s history—between via Sistina—where Sotirio Bulgari first opened its doors in 1884; and the historic store in Via dei Condotti.
