The Best Restaurants Guide (BRG) 2018 was launched alongside T.Dining, Tatler’s new multi-platform lifestyle brand comprising the BRG; the website (philtatlerdining.com), which now boasts a new look and broader content; and an exciting series of events which will take place throughout the year. The new T.Dining brand and look is targeted at engaging and re-invigorating the face of the region’s dining scene. The T.Dining palate is not about what is the most expensive or the most exclusive—instead, it focuses on what makes an incredible dining experience. The BRG’s, in partnership with HSBC, launch is an annual event that is very much looked forward to by the country’s most venerated foodies, oenophiles and discerning sophisticates. This year, more than 300 attendees celebrated at the Raffles Fairmont Makati Ballroom to cheers the 173 well-deserving restaurants in the book. The most thrilling part of the evening was the grand reveal of: the Top 20, and for the first time in Tatler history, four specialty “Best of Class” awards.
