It was a high-octane start to a celebration marking Singapore’s 50th year of independence and the 30th anniversary of Stuttgart Auto, sole dealer of Porsche in Singapore. Some 470 guests indulged in a lavish dinner at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre in July where they feasted, drank and soaked up history and exquisite style in a prelude to The Porsche Circuit event. Amping up the glamour were the evening’s host, actress Janice Koh, and Earl Bamber, one of the drivers of this year’s Le Mans winning team from Porsche, who chatted with guests and took photos with them. Giving was a highlight, with Karsono Kwee, Executive Chairman of Stuttgart Auto, presenting a total of $740,000 to three causes: SportCares, The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund and West Coast Citizens’ Consultative Committee.
