It was a blast from the past at the Liang Yi Museum in Sheung Wan where internationally renowned art collector Sandrine Souchon unveiled a curated selection of her families private collection in an exhibition titled “French Belle Epoque” (A Beautiful Era), as part of the 2017 Le French May arts festival. The exhibit pays tribute to a period that is symbolic as art was created as a result of peaceful and prosperous culture, starting in 1871 at the end of the Franco-Prussian War prior to the outbreak of the First World War in 1914. Souchon is the third generation of a family of passionate art collectors and is a member of the SNA (Syndicate of Antique dealers).
