It was a night of song and dance—and no party with Peter Cheung would be complete without a rendition of Barry Manilow’s Copacabana and a lip-sync, choreographed performance of Madonna’s Vogue. He did both, and of course they were high points of the night. More than 350 of Peter’s friends from around the world, including Bonnae Gokson, Candice Suen-Sieber and Yuda Chan, gathered at the Grand Hyatt for his 50th birthday celebrations, which coincided with the third anniversary of his strategic consultancy, Peter Cheung Asia. In lieu of gifts, Peter asked friends to donate to the End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation, and he introduced the foundation’s founder, former actress Josephine Siao, who spoke of its work. More than HK$283,776 was raised on the night for the charity.
