We asked some of our 2016 cover stars to reveal what they’re looking forward to most in 2017.

“In 2017, I wish to graduate from Speos—the photography school that I’m attending now—with a clear vision on what I want to pursue next. Perhaps a meaningful photography project in Singapore and around the region.” Rosalynn Tay
“My wish is for all of my friends and family members to stay healthy and happy. But personally, I’m always dreaming of eating and drinking limitlessly without putting on any weight!” Carmen Ow
“I’m moving to the beautiful Sydney come January so my wish is to happily settle there with my family. We’re looking forward to our new adventures!” Rany Moran
“I’d like to dedicate even more time to travel with my daughter and all four of our parents as a family. Kara is at a precious age where she’s excited about learning and building new experiences, so it feels pricelss for all of us to be able to build such memories together. We already have some trips lines up and we can’t wait!” Karen Ong-Tan
“I hope that my designs can contribute to poor and underprivileged Singaporeans by giving them the room to enjoy the beauty and simplicity of spaces. For the new projects that I’m undertaking, I aim to better reflect the owner’s personality through my designs.” Peter Tay
