Fendi celebrates the historical city of Rome by donating a public artwork to the city. The new site-specific artwork by Italian artist Giuseppe Penone - entitled Foglie di Pietra - can be found just outside of Palazzo Fendi on Largo Goldoni. Guests from all over the world flew in for the unveiling of  the sculpture, which consists of two bronze trees – 18 and 9 meter-tall respectively – interlacing their branches, while carrying a marble block weighing 11 tonnes within them. Aimed to establish a permanent bond between nature and culture, Penone also hopes to celebrate the romantic nostalgia of lost civilisations through his most complex work to-date.
