Members of the arts community join the Mandala Club and Tatler Singapore to celebrate the closing of the 10th edition of the Singapore Art Week
The location: Mandala Club. The dress code: Yves Klein Blue, in an ode to the French artist who was well known for his blue monochromatic paintings.
How apt, considering members of the arts community converged at the Art Bar to celebrate the closing of the Singapore Art Week, which marked its 10th anniversary this year. Hosted by the Mandala Club, in collaboration with Tatler Singapore, the intimate sit-down affair at the Straits Parlour saw guests enjoying snack platters, as well as Johnnie Walker Blue Label cocktails, while ruminating on the artistry and creativity they had seen in the works of local and regional artists across the 10-day visual arts season. All this while being surrounded by the awe-inspiring works of Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso and Tracey Emin, among others, from the art collection of the private members’ club.
