Magic Bus celebrated its eighth anniversary in Singapore with a grand gala dinner at JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach. The non-profit organisation works with underprivileged children in India and through an activity-based curriculum, it equips them with the skills and confidence to go from poverty to prosperity.

There was definitely much cause for celebration as over the last seven years, the Singapore arm of Magic Bus has raised close to S$3 million and the money has supported more than 200 communities in Delhi. Patricia Mathias, CEO of Magic Bus Singapore, paid tribute to the kind sponsors and corporations that have helped the cause. "With your help, I'm 100 per cent certain that the children participating in our programmes will walk out of poverty when they are done."
