Organised by Manny Miñana and Nanette Medved-Po, the star-studded two-hour concert Voices for Visayas raised more than 18 million Philippine pesos for the rehabilitation of Central Philippines through the Philippine Disaster Recovery Foundation. Over 100 artists lent their voices to build homes for the victims of typhoon Haiyan. Highlights included the interpretative dance depicting a calm rural community devastated by a typhoon, an excerpt from the ballet musical Rama Hari, and a heart-warming rendition of Ryan Cayabyab's "Just Believe" by all the artists to end the show. The all-star cast included Gary Valenciano, Kuh Ledesma, Pilita Cprrales, Sharon Cuneta, Leo Valdez, Ogie Alcasid, Regine Velasquez, and Martin Nievera. For their efforts, both the organisers and performers received a standing ovation from the appreciative audience. Stewards of the night's proceeds were Gawad Kalinga and Habitat for HUmanity.
