When Liam Quah turned one, his sociable parents Cheryl Lee and Quah Soon Hong threw him a colourful party that saw Tuscan-inspired restaurant, Pietrasanta, transform into an Italian village and market place. A resplendent spread of cheeses, cold cuts, pastas and pizzas were complemented with ice cream and a thematic dessert station. Outdoors, the energetic young ones were kept occupied with a face painting booth, a bouncy castle and a photowall of iconic Italian landmarks and a vintage Vespa among other activities. As the afternoon party came to an end, pizza boxes with Liam's cherubic visage containing toys, stationery and sand art were given out as door gifts.
