La Prairie Launches the Skin Caviar Nighttime Oil With an Art Installation by French Artist Maotik

Innovation plays a key role in La Prairie’s iconic creations. The Swiss luxury skincare brand pushes boundaries with each new product launch as its scientists work to combine science with beauty.

This month, La Prairie introduces its all-new Skin Caviar Nighttime Oil—a facial treatment oil that’s two years in the making and joins the beauty brand’s indulgent Skin Caviar collection.

Imbued with Caviar Retinol, the Skin Caviar Nighttime Oil is designed to work in conjunction with the skin’s natural circadian rhythms to help counteract age-induced effects, whilst its oily composition creates an immediate temporary outer barrier to minimise water loss. The product aims to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while visibly smoothing the skin’s surface.

Earlier this month, the beauty brand invited Tatler friends for an intimate viewing of its latest launch through an immersive and innovative art installation by French digital artist Maotik at Ion Sky.

The interactive installation was also part of Art Basel—which makes the experience even more exclusive since the Covid-19 health crisis has hindered most of our travel plans that would have allowed us to visit art exhibitions and museums overseas.

Following the experience and a short presentation on the new Skin Caviar Nighttime Oil by a La Prairie spokesperson, Tatler friends were invited to tour the brand new La Prairie flagship boutique that just opened its doors at Ion Orchard. In fact, it is the brand’s first and only standalone luxury boutique in Singapore.

Aimed at providing a one-stop haven of pristine elegance and inspired by Swiss contemporary architecture, the boutique design is also a physical representation of La Prairie’s quest for timeless beauty.

The boutique features two facial cabins and also offers the full range of La Prairie products from skin and body care, to complexion products. Guests will also get to try an interactive product experience table and have access to a private consultation area if they require the service.

Every facial treatment is 90-min long and the list of treatments available cater to a myriad of skincare concerns such as firming, anti-ageing and rejuvenation. Exclusive to the Ion Orchard boutique is the White Caviar Illuminating & Firming Facial—which promotes an even skin tone by helping to prevent discolouration and illuminating the skin. Take note that you will have to be fully vaccinated in order to go for any of its facial services.
