Six of the city’s most stylish fashionistas granted us an all-access pass to their fabulous dressing rooms

WHO: Claudia Shaw, buyer and regional style adviser at Chanel, declared Most Stylish Woman of 2015 by Hong Kong Tatler, mother of three.

HOSTILE TAKEOVER: Claudia has a master suite packed with dresses and handbags, and she’s taken over at least one wardrobe in each of her children’s bedrooms and a helper’s room for her extensive collection of clothes. We didn’t know where to begin.

LOCO FOR COCO: She has spent the past 21 years working at Chanel, so you can imagine her collection is the stuff of dreams.

STYLE MANTRA: We asked Claudia, who is renowned for her style, to define her way of dressing. “I would define my style as timeless and classic, but not dated—so I would call it contemporary classic. It’s simple and sophisticated, but I enjoy dressing according to paradoxes, whether that’s masculine versus feminine or mixing high and low fashion.”

KEEP IT CLASSIC: She’s always on the lookout for a good crisp white button-down shirt or white T-shirt. She has at least 60 white shirts in her collection.

IN LIVING COLOUR: “People think I don’t wear colour, or they find my style very monochrome,” she says, “so they would be surprised to find a lot of colour in my wardrobe and even a few pink outfits. I have one or two fuchsia looks in there too.”
