Home in a Barrel: Crate and Barrel Opening

It was one of the most anticipated home store events of the year. Carrying a wide range of furniture and home furnishings, guests eagerly waited as they gathered for the opening of the first Crate & Barrel store in the country. Welcoming guests during the event were Crate & Barrel USA Head of International Visual Merchandising April Young, SM Retail Director Felicidad Sy, SM Prime Holdings Inc President Hans Sy, and SM Retail Chairman Tessie Sy-Coson. Crate & Barrel started in 1962 by Gordon and Carole Segal in Vivian Chicago, Illinois.
