Entrepreneurs and creatives from across Asia gathered to attend the annual Female Entrepreneur’s Day. It was “a day for learning, feeling inspired and making meaningful connections,” according to organisers Female Entrepreneurs Worldwide (FEW).
Business matching sessions and “experiential corners” added value—as well as a good deal of fun—for the 200 attendees, but the strong line-up of speakers was the biggest draw of the conference, which this year was held in Shenzhen.
Generation T honourees Joanna Lui Hickox and Ruth Chao discussed the future of female leadership with journalist Angie Lau on the panel Women of the New Generation. Elsewhere, philanthropist Alice Chiu, founder of the Sheen Hok Charitable Foundation, imparted life advice on empowerment and the importance of balance.
