It is the A-List of Filipina achievers from all over the world. The 100 Most Influential Filipinas, an annual search conducted by the San Francisco-based Filipina Women’s Network (FWN), drew up around 70 women of note, led by Vice President Leni Robredo, who was first to receive hers, before the gala night at the Mactan Shangri-La ballroom. On that evening, the women proudly wore Filipiniana outfits in celebration of their proud heritage. FWN is headed by founder and CEO Marily Mondejar, President Susie Quesada, and a board of directors, most of whom were present. The Chairman of the 2017 FWN Leadership Global Summit, a four-day conference of a unique programme which culminates in this Awards Night, is Myrna Yao, while standing as its annual emcee par excellence is Gloria Caoile.
