HK$10.2 million was the total amount raised at this year’s Ambassadors Ball, to benefit the Design Trust, a grant funding platform created by the Hong Kong Ambassadors of Design and the large sum represents a new record for the Ambassadors Ball, which is also celebrating it’s 10th anniversary this year. Held at the Kerry Hotel in the presence of Hong Kong's Chief Executive Carrie Lam, this year André Fu and Adonian Chan were enlisted as the creative directors and a highlight of the ball each year is the live auction and this year was no different. After the dinner, guests proceeded upstairs to Red Sugar for the after party, which was sponsored by Jimmy Choo—and aside from the photo booth and dance machine, many enjoyed the performance from band Chordus Interruptus, who made their debut that night.
