In keeping up with the holiday tradition and to further boost camaraderie, friendship and community spirit, Essensa recently held its annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at the lobby of both the Lawton and Cameron Towers in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The celebration gathered together the apartment owners, residents and guests for a fun-filled evening with separate activities lined-up for adults and children. The event also doubled as an early community Christmas Party with Santa handing out gifts to the kids.

Another highlight of the night was the performance of the Mary the Queen Children’s Choir of the Immaculate Concepcion Parish in Cubao, Quezon City. This world-renowned and award winning children’s choir sang for Pope Francis during the Holy Father’s visit in 2015 and recorded the official Papal Visit song “We are All God’s Children,” together with inspirational singer Jamie Rivera.

This is the tenth year that Essensa has been doing a tree lighting activity. Tamilee Decors, who has been decorating Essensa for a decade now, provided the two 18-foot trees adorned with red and silver berries, twigs, reindeers and balls as well as other ornaments that enliven the holiday spirits in the common areas of the two towers.

Present in the event were the officers of the Essensa East Forbes Condominium Corporation - President Bryan Cockrell, Vice Chairman Robert Sun, Treasurer Gonzalo Ocampo and Board Members Amy Ward, Mary Anne Colayco and Tami Leung.

Essensa was designed by renowned Pritzker Prize winning architect, I.M. Pei, who is the architect behind the Louvre in Paris and the Bank of China in Hongkong. Essensa is composed of twin towers with a combined low-density 236 luxurious residential apartments, and is considered as one of the premier residential addresses in the country. It is the very first premium residential condominium development of Century Properties. This 6-star residential enclave houses foreign and local diplomats, business and embassy expatriates, and captains of the Philippine industries.
