Partners in work and in life, Thirty30 Creative founders Victoria Tang-Owen and Christopher Owen gathered at The Krug Room at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, for the second in a series of dinners courtesy of Krug Champagne and co-hosted by Hong Kong Tatler. With the table decorated with leaves and mushroom figurines, which created a whimsical setting, guests remarked that it felt as though they were in a scene from Alice in Wonderland. Victoria and Christopher met with Executive Chef Robin Zavou and curated the evening’s menu over a glass of Krug Grande Cuvée. At Victoria’s request, one of the ten courses Zavou created was a mushroom dish that reminded her of a childhood favourite prepared by her grandmother, and at Christopher’s request, Zavou prepared an innovative interpretation of the classic fish and chips. Each course was paired with some of the finest Krug champagne, naturally.
