European watchmakers Breguet celebrated the opening of their new Causeway Bay boutique with a cocktail party at The Pawn. Following an earlier ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new store, officiated by Thierry Esslinger, chief executive officer of Montres Breguet SA, and Emmanuel Breguet, the 7th generation of the Breguet family and vice president of Montres Breguet SA, timepiece collectors and aficionados including Winston Koo accompanied by his wife Océane, Charles Yang and Brandon Chau, packed into the restaurant that had been transformed into an event space.
Guests enjoyed the live band while admiring display cases containing Breguet’s timeless designs, such as the replica of Sir Winston Churchill’s favourite, the Breguet No. 765. Many were also intrigued by the Breguet artisan, whose steady hand was projected on a big screen showing the intricate detail of how a timepiece is put together.
